The Cimitero Acattolico (Non-Catholic Cemetery) in Rome contains the grave of August von Goethe (son of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe) who died in Rome in 1830, along with numerous other German artists, scholars, and members of the German Archaeological Institute founded in Rome in 1829.
